    Hi, hello, question. Currently, I am unable to update/ install a game. It started as an update to a game (about 12gb) and I spent a while trying to figure out the problem. Went to Xbox Support and did the recommended fixes; Hard reset, removing account
    from console and adding it back, deleting the game and reinstalling it, etc. I checked my network and everything is smooth, 93 Mbps, latency at 40ms, no packets lost, the whole shabang. Now, the game installs for about 5-10 sec , stops, says “Installing...”
    for 10-20min, and either goes back to installing for 5-10 sec, or it will say “Installation Stopped”. Any recommendations? Or should I wait this out? Thanks

    Hello!

    1- Try to reset the xbox and see if so when you start update the status of the game

    2- Go to manage game data and check that it is installed or pending installation.

    3- Uninstall the game and restart the xbox

    4-Install the games and then install all the updates, be careful not to install any updates before the game.

    Just did 2 Clean installs of Windows 10 1909.

    The first install i did all windows updates/Driver updates then installed xbox pc beta game pass then installed 2 games and then attempted to install dragon center from MSI. it installed and then failed to run with the same errors i was getting before.

    The second install i installed driver updates and then installed Dragon Center. Configured the system with Dragon Center. Then installed all windows updates, Xbox pc beta game pass and then installed a game and played. Dragon center still worked after playing
    the game. once i restarted the computer dragon center was broken with the same errors as before. Something is breaking the program in the xbox pc game pass install.

    The most common problem is updates. Make sure to decline any updates as it is installing. For some reason, allowing the updates to install while the game is installing causes issues. You can always queue the updates after the base game is installed.

    Hi, that's usually what happens when you download an update. Most of the time updates install over the files that need updating. It's not like the xbox 360 where an update is installed and adds to the file size. With Xbox One games, updates are installed
    over files that are needed to be updated. hence why the file size has not changed.

    what i did was to un-install the game turn off xbox, re insert disc, re-install but this time when it tells you there is an update available for the game hit No and dont install the update until after the disc is fully installed.
