Xbox Games & Apps crash right after launching

Hello,

I hadn't played in my Xbox One for quite a long time, but recently I received an Xbox Gold card so I thought "Why not" and decided to turn it back on and activate it. This was 2 days ago. Since then, I've been trying unsucessfully to start any games but
keep failing to do so. I've tried Forza 6, Fifa 16, COD BO4 and even Doritos Crash Course. All of them crash about 30 seconds after opening. So while I've already activated the Gold membership, I can't use it. I've done factory resets, countless power cycles,
uninstalled most games to free up space and came back to the same problem at all times. Im getting really frustrated because I've already contacted 2 Xbox experts on this website and neither were much help.

Try hard resetting your xbox by holding down the console button for 10 seconds. See if that helps. Hope i helped

Did you allow the xbox to complete necessary updates?

Try unplugging the xbox and the plug it back in. I am sorry if this dose not help you.

Hello! I'm sorry your experiencing this issue, here are some different possible solutions I can provide. Try these in order.

1. Hard restart the console.

Hold the power button for 5-10 seconds, or until the console is fully off, wait about 30 seconds and turn it back on.

2. Uninstall and reinstall the games/apps.

It could be an issue with the games themselves, maybe this will help if so.

3. Contact Microsoft support here

If none of these work, it could be an issue with the software or hardware of the console itself. Official Microsoft support will be able to provide better support on this.

Depending on how long ago the console was turned on there have been many updates to the General Availability
XBox System updates and they may need to be downloaded and applied before you can continue using the console.

As SavvyReigns mentioned, allow the updates to complete prior to starting a game.
