Xbox Games and Apps will not launch also 30 games uninstalled all at once.

This started 2 months ago. For some reason I was unable to play any games (games took to long to start) on my main account then on my second account. I then went to support and resolved the issue by doing persistent storage on blue ray. Then went to macadress
and did a restart. All went well and everything was normal. Then about 3 days ago it happened again this time all I had to do was to a hard reset. Today march, 28 it happened once again. This time nothing yet has fixed it. I did the solution as stated before
and didn't work intact made them worse. My console was unable to restart its self and stayed on a black screen forever. I turned it off turned it back on went to a different support area to seek answers. I was told to do a soft factory reset. The problem was
that the problem got so bad that I can't launch my own settings, help, trouble shooting. I tried doing this thing were I held bind and eject that did not work. I then was told to launch games and apps I did I took a really long time to load. I was shocked
to find that about 30 or so games got uninstalled. I have an external storage device. It looks as if the xbox is no longer reading it. Even though it was plugged in. It said external storage ready but still said I have 40GB left. So I don't know what to do.

News on Update?? Xbox One will NOT read discs/open certain APPS

the games and apps that won't launch can't even be uninstalled....

HBO Now app wont launch

I initially shutdown the console and once i restarted i tried to start the app but got nothing then i uninstalled the app and intalled it and tried to launch but it wont start up, it just beeps as im pressing the launch button. Whenever i back out from
that screen and i am looking at all my apps, it always reverts back to "ready to install".

Hey there KNG Rex.

It sounds like the external storage device may be the culprit. Are you able to install games to your internal storage while the external storage device is unplugged? Try navigating your Xbox One without any USB devices plugged in to see if there's a change.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend trying to sign out of the apps(Xbox beta app and companion app). Once signed out, power off the PC, wait 30 seconds and turn back on. Then sign back into the beta app and try launching the games. May also want
to try and
uninstall and reinstall the game.

Don't worry, Kevin it will uninstall all of your games and apps but once you re-launch them your game progress that are stored on your cloud will just re-sync.

There is no Microsoft Flight Simulator icon

The folder XboxGames in my windows is empty

In my Apps and features I have found these,

Xbox

Xbox Console Companion

Xbox Game Bar

Xbox Live

The options for them all except Xbox Games Bar are Terminate, Repair, Reset and uninstall

Xbox Games Bar has the following options only Terminate, Repair and Reset the uninstall is greyed out

I also found these files

C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_32\Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect which contains these files

On The RPM

1. Press the Xbox button on your Xbox controller.

2. Click on the "My Games and Apps" selection.

3. Find your YouTube app, and then highlight it with the controller (don't click to launch it).

4. Press the Menu (Start) button on your controller and then click "Manage Game" when it appears on the menu.

5. You will then see the app's picture, along with three choices. These include "Move All," "Copy All," and "Uninstall All." Pick "Uninstall All" and the app will be removed. Note that the app will still appear in the "Ready to Install" section under your
Games and Apps list.

This should do the trick. The other reply given to limit time to any given app or game is also helpful if you decide you don't want to uninstall it.
