    Xbox Gamertag reading incorrect profile save data


    I just recently upgraded from the white Xbox 360 to a 360 slim.

    I used a USB memory unit to transfer the saved content, and profiles from my old system to the new system.

    Now I am trying to play a game (Assassin's Creed Black Flag), signed in under my own Gamertag, but it is showing a saved game file for a different user/Gamertag ...

    I went into the storage system settings, and it says there is a saved game file for my GT, as well as his - it shows they are both the same size (I had 100% completed, and his was around 50% completed)

    So I'm not sure what the issue is, but I'm really hoping that it can be fixed somehow because I will be VERY unhappy if I have to rebeat the entire game ... It's like it replaced my saved game with another user.

    When the game loads it should show my gamertag as the saved file, but it's not ... Can any one help fix this?

    Ps the files are not still on the old xbox, or the memory unit because I moved them to the new one ... so I cannot check on the old one to see.

    I also haven't checked any other saved games to see if this is an issue on any others.

    But if someone can help with some info on fixing it, if it's fixable ..

    Xbox 360 Data to Xbox One?

    Um, not quite sure where you got the info but it is incorrect. Nothing will transfer but the Profile. The two (Xbox One and Xbox 360) are not compatible for Data in any way other then just the Profile. The Xbox One is not BC towards
    the Xbox 360 or any Game Save or Game Content Data.

    Deleting downloaded profile?

    I decided to dust off my 360 and I downloaded my profile awhile ago. But if I delete it and not my actual profile. All of my saves and data will still be there, right? Because from what I read. The only point of downloading your profile, is if you want to log in to a different console.

    Are you connected to Xbox Live? If you are the only thing I could tell you is to try to Delete the whole profile and then Download from your Xbox Guide. (Xbox Live sign in Info required)

    I tried the method mentioned above and I still had my brother's game data. I just deleted it (which, believe it or not, deleted MY OWN game save data off my flash drive). I hope this bug is fixed soon because I'm not liking having to start the game all over
    from scratch when I was like 64% done with the game.

    Hello There,

    Sorry for the issue with sending messages. You can try to
    remove and read your profile     to the Xbox console. You will not lose any save data as it is saved to the cloud also.

    Hello Sterling,

    Unfortunately, you are able to link two accounts together. If your Xbox 360 account is an offline account you can convert it to a gamertag profile.

    With the save data you will need to enable cloud save, play games a little then they will sync to the cloud. You should then be able to access the save data on the Xbox one. Note not all save data will work as developers change some things when they make
    them backward compatible.
