    I’m thinking about changing my name but numbers show up after my name. I know that you can’t get rid of them but is it possible to change the numbers you get?

    No. The numbers are randomly added so others can't take the same numbers.

    It's called your tenure. It's the number of years you've been a gold member, not necessarily the age of the account.

    Years as a xbox live member, 0 means less than 12 months i think.. 1 means a year like me and you, will go up when the 2nd year is passed :) i believe you need to be a gold member too

    The number doesn't mean there are that amount of other users with the same gamertag, it needs to be 4 to be enough number combinations, but this are not and indication of how many are with the same one

    Some gamertags are unique and can't be found, but for sure if you received a suffix that gamertag has already been used
