Folgendes Problem:

Mein Xbox Live Gamertag habe ich früher noch auf eine Drittemail (@web.de) registriert. Unterdessen habe ich aber auch eine @hotmail.ch Adresse. Der Aliaswechsel hat nicht geklappt, da man @hotmail.ch nicht als Alias verwenden darf.

Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich meinen an die @web geküpften Gamertag auf die @hotmail.ch verschieben bzw. verbinden kann?

changing email address associated with xbox

I was going to change my Gamertag's old Hotmail address to a new gaming themed one, but it is now all tied into one Microsoft account, so it would mean it would be updated for all my Microsoft products and not just my Gamertag. I didn't bother in the end.

To clarify, it doesn't allow you to move an @hotmail.ch address? If that's the case, you'll need to create an Outlook account and try linking that to your account instead. Let us know so that we can best help you out

Is it a hotmail email? you need to change the email associated with your xbox gamertag, as your ambasador program profile and your xbox gamertag are linked.

I signed into the gamertag/xbox account earlier today, realised it was linked to an old hotmail address, and was trying to change the associated MS account's email from that hotmail address to my gmail address.

the account connected to my old gamertag is a microsoft account, but it doesn't have @outlook or @hotmail) and the new email account that I want to be connected to my old gamertag is also a microsoft account but @gmail, not @outlook or @hotmail
