    Xbox gamertag changed in the minecraft launcher but not in Minecraft


    I changed my gamertag but whille it shows changed in Minecraft Launcher it's not changed in minecraft itself(when I play in multiplayer the username is still the previous one

    are you playing minecraft java edition or bedrock, as java i think does not use your gamertag. as you mentioned the minecraft launcher.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. If you changed your gamer tag, log into Xbox.com and see if you notice the change there. If it hasn't you can request a call from support for assistance. Please make sure you allow 24 hours for the change. Sign out of the device completely, then sign in.
