    So since i have made my Xbox account for my PC, I have changed my gamertag since i have made the Xbox account and then when i try to change the name, it says i have already used a gamertag change and i must pay $9.99 for a new change, PLEASE help!

    I want to change my gamertag. I'm supposed to get one free change but it's saying i've used it and im pretty positive I never have.

    Original Xbox Gamertags getting reset April 16th?

    So if I have a VERY old Xbox gamertag from circa 2002 () which I have never used on Xbox 360, would I be able to change my current Gamertag (as in, legitimately buy a change for 800M$P) to this old tag?

    The free change is only available if you were given a randomly generated tag when you created your account and are changing that name for the first time. Since the tag you have is one of your own choosing, you have technically already used your change so
    you will have to pay if you want to change it.

    Someone did.As Smwutches said,the gamertag you are posting with is not a randomly generated one so the any other changes will need to be paid for.

    You will have to pay if you want ti change your tag. The free change is only given if you were given a randomly generated tag when you signed up and are changing that tag for the first time. The tag you are posting with, is not a randomly generated tag.
