Xbox gamepass ultimate won't give me the option to install games on my PC. Is that intended?

As the title says, I cannot install games, either from the app or from the store, the only option I have available is installing the games on the Xbox.

I have checked my subscription, is paid and up to date, it's the gamepass ultimate. I've recently got a PC and would like to take advantage of my gamepass, but I can't.

Keep in mind you need to meet the system requirements

Thr only games that work on pc that are on the xbox ultimate gamepass are the pc playanywhere titles which smwutches mentioned and the pc specific titles

You can check the beta app for xbox for the list of titles and yes they are different

As Smwutches mentioned if you get the Xbox Beta app, you can see the games that are available to download through the subscription, something
to note is to make sure that you are signed in with the account that has the subscription. Your PC will need to be able to run the games for you to be able to play them.

My PC is old and I can run Horizon 4 (on low settings) and Crack down 3 as well.

Make sure the games you're trying to download are available for the PC through Game Pass and/or Play Anywhere. Not all of the same games will work on both.

Also try downloading through Xbox (beta) app. If you haven't downloaded it, you can download it at https://www.xbox.com/xbox-game-pass/pc-games?xr=shellnav

I also bought the gamepass recently and it won't let me install the games giving me an error

Well no as if you aren't in an xbox live supported country or gamepass ultimate region changing regions won't help since your payment option. MUST match the region

If you are lucky ita an expansion region for gamepass for pc
