    Xbox GamePass PC wont install some games.


    Hi.

    Had windows 11 and all was working fine, until I installed the patches for Ryzen cache bug.

    After that, I was not able to install or update anything that I tried from my GamePass Ultimate subscription.

    Did the following:

    1- WSRESET, result, same as before.

    2- SFC /SCANNOW, same as before.

    3- CHKDSK /R, same as before.

    4- Reset, repair, remove, reinstall XBOX app, same result.

    5- Windows and apps were up to date.

    6 Removed Windows 11, reversed back to Windows 10, same results but...

    I was able to install some games, but some failed as before, so this is clearly a DRM issue.

    Games affected:

    1- Subnautica.

    2- Subnautica Below Zero.

    3- HALO Master Chief.

    Error code 0x87e00017.

    My sub expires in a couple of weeks, I think that i will cancel and just move back to Steam, since I never experienced such issues with it.

    Gamepass PC vs Xbox

    The PC gamepass are new, so, they are adding games, but, the PC gamepass have some games that xbox doesn't have.

    Why is multiplayer locked

    Console or pc if console you must have xbox gamepass core or ultimate and install the multiplayer modules

    If pc just install the multiplayer modules and sign up for xbox

    Also some games require you to register with their service like resident evil.online or squareenix or callofduty.com battlenet etc

    Keep in mind they have to be in the same region as you if they are in the newly expanded pc xbox gamepass regions it wont work since only gamepass pc will work there and they have to be in the Windows insiders program

    No as home console is only an xbox feature

    HOWEVER downloada can be shared by logining intonthe xbox gamepass app with your profile she wont be able to use her purchases just yours

    And only play anywhere titles are compatible with pc oe the pc gamepass games will work
