    XBox Gamepass need authorization to install content


    I ran into a problem with my XBox account on PC lately. I tried to install a game with an age restriction and got the message that I need an adult to sign in download the game. I checked and my DOB is correct in my microsoft account which was correct. I tried to repair the XBox app in the settings of the PC. I also tried to figure out if I'm a family member for some reason which I am not. Funnily enough downloading games with age restrictions works when i queue the install with the mobile app.

    I don't really know what else I'm supposed to do to get it working.

    Thank you for your reply. Sadly none of this works. I followed your instructions. I can't even install the game on the website since the website istalls games with the XBox app.

    Go to the top right corner, click on your avatar

    click on my microsoft account

    will open the tab written my personal information

    Click, and go to the date of birth

    Change to 18+

    Resend, if you already have.

    Then log out of your account on the xbox app and log in again.

    If it persists, reinstall the app

    If it still continues, open your browser, search for the game on the Microsoft website, and click download, please tell me if it worked.

    I got the codes and installed it yesterday. Went to try it this morning and it told me that I wasn't "authorized" to view the content. :(

    you only need gamepass pc to have gamepass and EA access, your xbox account needs to be linked with EA and you need the EA app installed too.
