Xbox Gamepass installation errors and jank.

Based on your description, you are experiencing issues with the download of games stuck at 100%. Thanks for bringing this concern to our attention. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

We would like to further isolate your concern in order to get a better understanding. Here are few questions about your system and what happen in your download.

1. What is your Xbox app and Gaming Services version? You may check that by launching Xbox app > select Profile picture > Settings > About.
   
2. When did this issue happen? Was there a recent Windows update or new application installed on your device?
   
3. Do we have issues installing apps or games on Microsoft Store?
   
4. May we ask if you are part of Xbox Insider or Windows Insider?
   
5. May we ask for the Windows version and edition of your computer or laptop? Please type WINVER into the Windows search bar and hit Enter.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   

So far, from the details you provided, you can try the following steps and let us know the result. You can just skip those you have done already.

Method 1:

Method 2:

Repair your apps and clear cache the Microsoft Store. Please use this guide for repairing Xbox app.

Please go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Select the app you want to fix. Select the Advanced options link under the name of the Microsoft Store. On the page that opens, select Repair if it's available. If it isn't available, select Reset.



Clear the store cache by typing “wsreset” in the Windows search bar. Run this as admin and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

Method 3: Run system scans

Run a full system scan. This will check and restore corrupted system files.



In Windows search bar, search for Command Prompt and Run as Administrator.

Copy the command below one line at a time and paste it on Command Prompt:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

SFC /scannow

My guess would be that "jank" is some sort of street slang that all the 'hip' youngsters use these days.

Okay, the most consistent error I am getting is 0x80070005. I actually just tried to install a doc opener in the microsoft store and I got the exact same error as I do in xbox gamepass.

Same error here, also not fixed after following all instructions you linked. What is it with these gamepass for PC games not installing correctly, ever? I've had the literal same exact error from trying to install VAMPYR before, all the way back at the
launch of gamepass for PC, and just now trying again, it still has this error. Fix your goddamn service already.
