    Xbox Gamepass Games Not Installing (PC)


    I've been having an issue with installing certain games from the Microsoft store and the Xbox (Beta) app. When I try to install these games I get told that Something Unexpected Happened, with the error code: 0x80190193

    The games I've tried to install but I have this issue with are:

    Gears 5 (Ultimate Edition)

    Blair Witch

    Prey

    Vampyr

    The Outer Worlds (Pre-Install)

    Things I have tried which have not fixed this issue:

    Restarting my PC

    Reinstalling the Xbox (Beta) app

    Starting the app as administrator

    Checking to see if my PC is updated

    Checking to see if my subscription is active

    Uninstalling the Xbox (Beta) App and installing from windows store

    Calling Microsoft support (went back and forth multiple times over the course of 2 weeks only to be told in the end that they didn't know what to do)

    I've been dealing with this issue for almost a month now and as you can probably tell it's becoming very irritating.

    If anyone knows a fix to this please let me know! Thanks!

    Hello there!

    It depends on which game pass you have on your account, is it the game pass ultimate, game pass for console, or the game pass for PC?

    If you have the gamepass ultimate, then you do not need to buy anything, you can just sign in with your account and everything will work fine; since the GPU includes Xbox live gold, gamepass for PC, and gamepass for console.

    If you have Gamepass for console, then you will need gamepass for PC so that you can install PC games for free.

    All Ubisoft games on PC Gamepass must install Uplay and use that to download the game and DLC. Gamepass only acts for authentication

    It appears that unfortunately, the 3rd step did not work either. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Gamepass for PC, and now it says {} unknown available. As the first time it showed {F:} Unknown available, but now, it shows no Drive at all.

    And as it appears it's only the Xbox Gamepass games. EA games install fine (I tried a couple of them). And still, under the settings, it doesn't show any selection for default.

    Just to add, Gamepass games install fine on my other PC. And Steam games install fine on this PC (The one I'm having the issue with). As well as EA Games. It's only the Gamepass games having the install issues.

    This is my Gaming/streaming PC.
