Why is my Gamepass subscription being credited from Ideal?

Why are customers not told what is going on ?

I have been with Xbox for 2/3 decades.

It's just rude. And i am looking for an answer for months and never got one untill now.

So I am bailing, will be cancelling my Gamepass subscription and selling my Xbox series X. Coz Microsoft doesn't want/need my money. And the lack of "exclusives" makes it a lot easier.

Shame Microsoft, not the way to treat loyal customers.

Look, I bought a 1 month gamepass ultimate but the time is up. The problem is I don't want the gamepass ultimate but instead I want 3 months live gold would it allow me to buy it or would it just extend the gamepass ultimate subscription by 3 months

So my regular subscription will just continue after the 6 months is up?

No. If you already had xbox live gold then when you add an xbox gamepass ultimate subscription (which includes Xbox live gold) it upgrades your existing Xbox live gold subscription to gamepass ultimate (hence why your gold subscription "disappeared")

So lets say for example before you added the gamepass ultimate subscription you had 6 months of xbox live gold left. When you added the 6 month gamepass code youd essentially now have 12 months of gamepass ultimate in this above example.

I believe if you already have gold or gamepass that the month you had left on gold/game pass get converted to ultimate gamepass so you get 3 months added to your subscription of gold/gamepass

When you convert a standard subscription (gamepass or xbox live gold) to the ultimate subscription it converts all your remaining months to ultimate 1:1 and I believe it adds 1 month as well. To get the most benefit from this conversion you also have the
option to buy 3 12 months subscriptions, claim them all on your account, and then convert it all to ultimate. You would then have 3 years of ultimate gamepass on your account. Be aware though that you cannot convert more than 36 months to ultimate.
