    Hey, I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem I'm having right now. For the last 6 months, I've had Xbox gamepass and I've used to play around 3 different games on PC. I haven't used it in a while and I just realised I could download Age of Empires
    II: Definitive Edition. However, my subscription now say that I have Xbox Gamepass for Console and I haven't changed it. Hell, I don't even own a console to begin with. How should I go about this, is there anyway I can change it?

    for pc you need pc gamepass not xbox gamepass, xbox gamepass if for consoles only.

    Thank for the quick reply. I am still confused about GamePass Console. All the references talk about GamePass Core and GamePass Ultimate but not about GamePass Console..

    My accumulated games are on the xbox. What happens if I go from GamePass Core, to GamePass console. Do I lose my accumulated xbox gold games ?

    Sorry to hear you feel this way. I'm not sure if you are aware, but GamePass and GamePass Ultimate are different subscriptions?

    GamePass Ultimate consists of three packages:

    • GamePass for console
    • GamePass for PC
    • Xbox Live Gold

    I suspect you may have taken the offer for just GamePass for console, but you will still require Xbox Live Gold to play online.

    Could this be the case?

    When you refunded the Ultimate GamePass you essentially canceled all subscriptions, as UGP is Xbox Live, GamePass for console and PC. You will have to resubscribe to Xbox Live and GamePass again.
