    Yes I think you are mistaking two things

    Gamepass trial codes can ONLY be used on new accounts or ones who never had gamepass before

    Xbox gold codes are different you can use any amount of trial codes BUT THEY cant be stacked

    the code in the package is a trial code only, if you have ever had gamepass or a trial of gamepass then you cannot use it.
