    Xbox GamePass App not working and games self-deleting


    Xbox GamePass app on PC doesn't work without a VPN or Mobile Hotspot connection; plus installed games often get deleted by themselves resulting in me trying to install them again. Persistent Issue, please help.

    This is the error 'unable to display right now' message I get every time i open the app.

    I've reset the app, deleted data, signed it again, but still the issue persists. The only time it works is when i use a mobile Hotspot or VPN, and by extension, the only way i can download games, which randomly get deleted and i see them downloading again. Suffice to say, it is extremely frustrating, rethinking Xbox subscription after this honestly

    Clear the cache: Clear the cache of the Xbox GamePass app by going to "Settings > Apps > Apps and Features > Xbox GamePass app > Advanced Options > Reset." This will clear any stored data, and hopefully resolve any issues related to the app.

    Check for updates: Make sure that your Xbox GamePass app is up to date. Check for any available updates by going to the Microsoft Store, clicking on the three dots in the upper-right corner, and then clicking on "Downloads and Updates."

    I don’t think that your saved has been deleted but you’ll have to download the game again, maybe you gave it to uninstall unintentionally

    It sounds like the update was cancelled somehow. If an update is cancelled it will delete the entire game as well.

    The saves would be fine since those are separate from the game data.
