    Xbox gamechat


    This has been happening for 3 days now for some reason my mic hasn’t been working for game chats like when its on I can’t talk to anyone and i can’t hear anyone talk either like in Overwatch, Modern Warfare, and Fortnite. But some how in Party chats my
    mic works perfectly fine. I’m not suspened but its an issue i want to to be resovled because I play alot of Overwatch competetive and i want my mic to be fine to communicate with my team.

    Audio tab in parties

    If in a party you are in party audio rather than gamechat. To go into gamechat whilst in a party go into the party, options near the bottom, and switch to gamechat. It automatically switches when you aren’t in a party.

    Ok,

    you first need to activate GameChat for your Stream (Mixer),

    its a bit tricky, you have Audio Options for your Partychat, GameChat and StreamAudio.on Xbox.

    Check out that all is active.

    There's a good chance it has to do with the other people, as they could have it setup for chat to come through speakers and their microphone is picking up your voice.

    first check if the mic your using is not damaged, pluug it on your phone and record your voice or call someone, if not the use another headset on your conotroller, if you have the same problem with this new headset then the problem is your controller
