xbox gamebar "We cant record right now"

I can open gamebar and record but i cant join a persons game when invited my gamebar freezes when i click join game or accept

Xbox game bar doesn't work in all games or resolutions, try switching to windowed mode and see if that fixes the problem.

Many games simply use technology that does not allow recording. Rest your mouse cursor over the recording icon and it will tell you the reason.

Is this the first time that you try to record using the game bar?

Is this happening when you try to record an specific game or is with all your games?
