Xbox gamebar audio

yeah it's the same with me, 300 down 50 up on an average day, latest version of gamebar and windows 11 23H3, latest version of Xbox app with no corrupt drivers, hard drives, my audio device and headset are working just fine on literally any other platform except gamebar/Xbox app. maybe it's a botched windows update that broke the software in gamebar?

sometimes i don't know why it does but it will auto switch your audio devices. so disable what you don't use so it can't switch to another device that doesn't playback. also with gamebar if you have push-to-talk on and you try to do anything outside of
gamebar the audio won't pickup. so try and work with console companion and if the audio change doesn't fix then im at a loss for the moment.

Hello Santi, if you have already been in the folder where the captures are saved and the audio is since way unfortunately can not recover only the audio, do not know how the recording was but maybe opening the file in some video editing software could help.

To try to prevent this from happening again, try checking to see if your Windows has the latest system updates, at 21H1, and also if Xbox Apps are up-to-date in the store.

just use the gamebar audio mixer to turn game volume down, thats how it is done on pc.
