Xbox game won't install

Discus and support Xbox game won't install in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; One of my games got uninstalled over night so I am trying to reinstall it.     Xbox game won't install


    One of my games got uninstalled over night so I am trying to reinstall it. Once it gets to the 20% mark the consol says installation error and stops the download. If I try to manually start the download again it stops it again and says download error. I already tried power cycling my consol and completely Uninstalling the game but it just keeps saying download error when I put it to download. I have enough space and a good wifi connection so I have no idea why I can't download the game.

    First power cycle your console again, as soon as the console is on, try this Jerry:

    go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings

    Once you’re inside the Advanced Settings menu, go to DNS settings and select Manual from the list of available options.
    When you get to the next screen, enter 8.8.8.8 in the box associated with the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 in the Secondary DNS box.

    Once the default DNS addresses have been changed, restart your console again and see if the issue has been resolved at the next console startup.

    (Would be great if also you disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes and try again once your internet connection is up and running)

    Which game is?

    Are you receiving an error code when you try downloading and it gets close to 20%? or just "installation error"?

    Thank you, its currently as 30% and is hasn't canceled yet so it seems to be working. If anything else happens I will ask you for further help
