Xbox game streaming lagging on my SP3.

Curious if anyone has had this issue. This is my setup:

Netgear 3700 router. Radios off. Connected to cable modem. Xbox ports properly forwarded.

Netgear R7000 wired to 3700. Broadcasting and managing wireless connections.

Xbox One directly wired to R7000. Nat type open. Static IP.

Surface Pro 3 i5 wireless. 5ghz. Windows 10 game streaming.

What happens is the SP3 tests and says it can stream at very high quality. When I'm playing though, every 30-60 seconds I get a big lag spike and the game streams at like 10fps for a brief moment. It used to work fine but not anymore. I have a ton of wireless
devices in my house including home automation hubs, security cameras, various phones and tablets and thermostats. Do I have a wireless congestion problem? Thanks for the help.

I do not have this issue with my Windows 10 desktop wired to the same network.

    :)

Xbox Stream Grey Out version 8.8.15

The Xbox app on my Windows 10 used to work for streaming from my Xbox One. After the updated, it doesn't work anymore on both Alienware and SP3 Pro. Anyone has the same issue? The Xbox app is version 8.8.15. I can connect to the Xbox One and the app
says streaming but it just shows the grey screen with no content.

Xbox game streaming lagging on my SP3.

    Hi,

To properly isolate your concern and provide an appropriate solution, kindly answer the following questions:

    • Are you experiencing the same issue on your other devices?

    • Have you tried to restart your routers and your devices?

    • What happens if only the Xbox and the Surface Pro 3 are connected to your routers?

    • Does the same issue occur if the Xbox and the Surface Pro 3 are connected to only one of your routers?

Verify the speed of your console’s Internet connection by running the Xbox One console speed test utility:

    1. Press the Menu button on the Xbox One controller.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Network.
    4. Select Detailed Network Statistics.
    5. The results should appear in a few moments.

Write down the following information from your speed test results:

    • Download speed
    • Upload speed
    • Ping

On your Surface Pro 3, verify the speed of your Internet connection. To verify the speed of your Internet connection, go to this
    website.

Run one test to a local server (the test should select the nearest one automatically). Then, run another test to Pacific Northwest region of the United States (Microsoft headquarters).

Write down the following information from your speed test results:

    • Download speed
    • Upload speed
    • Ping

We're looking forward to your response.

I've rebooted my entire network and attempted to game stream and still experience the same problems. I have no way to connect the surface to my router using Ethernet, but the Xbox is wired and the SP3 is connected wirelessly to the same router and there
    are still issues.

I ran the speed test on the Xbox and these are he results:

    Download speed: 59.98mbps

    Upload speed : 2.53 Mbps

    Latency: 59 ms

    Packet Loss: 0%

    MTU: 1480

With the Surface Tablet connected to wirelessly to my 5ghz network the results are:

    Download speed: 59.68 Mbps

    Upload speed: 4.41 Mbps

    Ping: 11 ms

When pinging Seattle, my Surface tablet speeds are:

    Download: 57.33 Mbps

    Upload: 4.93 Mbps

    Ping: 51ms

my pc and xbox don't see each other

For windows XP SP3 you need to create a home network. Go to "My Network Places" And set up a new network using "Network Setup wizard". The name of the network will show up on your Xbox. Then all you have to do is Step 2.
