Xbox game sharing, says sign in with the profile used for purchase, or buy a copy

You can only share on 1 console at a time. So the person who buys the games/subscriptions would need to set 1 of the console as their Home. The other profiles would use that console and the person who purchased everything can still sign in and use the non-Home console. For a 3rd console, you'd either have to purchase everything at least 1 more time or sign in with the purchasing account.

There is no way you can buy it once and share with 7 consoles. You wouldn't quite have to buy it 7 times, but you would have to purchase multiple copies. You have only share games/gold on the Home console and you can only have 1 console set as your Home
at a time. So you would have to buy it on one account, set a console as It's Home, then that account can sign in and use another console, then you'd have to repeat with the next set of consoles and so on. For 7, you'd need at least 4 copies.

Before placing any items on an account, always make sure the correct profile is signed in. Unfortunately, using currency is not something that can be used to buy Gifts. (Not everything can be gifted)

Although, I recommend to set your profile as the "Home Console". This will allow the profile to share the games you purchase with other profiles on the
same console.

To clarify, Driver San Francisco wasn't made free, but if your account already owned it, or if you were signed into the

Home console for an account that already owned it, it would appear in the Ready to Install list under My Games & Apps on that console.

Did you previously purchase this game with your account? If not, then it's likely that you were playing a copy that belonged to another profile. If that profile signed out or if the Home console for that profile changed, then you would no longer have access
to the game via their profile.

gold is required long time ago, so now quit it sounds impossible but you can share your account key with your brother in order to don't buy 2 copies of halo 5 and double gold membership. Both of you can share gold and digital games without sign the other
profile
