Xbox game sharing/home xbox

Hello,

So a friend was sharing his library with me when a friend logged in his account and made his Xbox the home Xbox. This friend originally was the 1st Xbox switch person, probably thinking there was a mistake. there can only be 3 switches a year.

1st switch: Original Xbox to person who currently has xbox

2nd switch: Person who currently has xbox to me

3rd switch: me to person who had it in 1st switch

My friend with the home xbox requested to have more switches and Microsoft

4th switch: person who has xbox to me

5th switch: grey area we are not sure

6th switch: guy who has it now.

My friend gave up on fixing it but allowed me to try and find out how to fix it. i am wondering if there was a way to give my friend one more single switch so it can be switched to me and then it is locked like that until next year when we get 3 more yearly
switches. i know this was messy if you need clarification please reply.

The home Xbox sharing feature is meant to be used by families not across the internet with random friends. Using it across the internet with random friends could be considered marketplace theft and could result in bans/suspensions. If you want that counter
reset then you will have to contact support directly as they are the only ones that can do it. Keep in mind since there is a 3 change per year limit they are not obligated to do it but definitely worth a try.
