Xbox Game Sales and Promo Question / Suggestion

Hello All,

I personally enjoy Xbox and recently decided to see if there were any discounted games on the site.

I see publisher sales often however when i check out the competition playstations store i see quite a few more games under other promotions and the kicker is these are usually AAA titles with 20-40 dollar costs. Then i go back to the Xbox to check out if
the same deal applies and not usually its there unless its a publisher sale.

I then begin to look on the internet to see if those games will be or ever were discounted through microsoft and usually the answer is, not so much.

What baffles me in a way is: why are the games being sold through microsofts store in physical form for a discounted rate (matching the ps4 stores price) and yet the same digital game on xbox is at full price. I thought microsoft wanted to have everyone
go all digital? Cause personally I prefer digital since disks sometimes barely get pulled out for use any longer.

My suggestion:

1) Simply make as many promos with the game companies for digital content.

2) Xbox and the MS store have wish list buttons, near the check out button for purchases. Why not try to engage the customer by allowing them to be informed of any game related promo reductions should they add an item to a wish list. You could even notify
parents of children accounts of steep game discounts their own kids selected and essentially create a user specific metric to identify en mass however many people in the world essentially having games in your carts, wishing for a discount. These things will
make easy money automatically.

3) Make physical and digital games priced lower with the passage of time and take a note from the competition by making Game of the Year releases with all content. Optionally - you could sell the base games at a steep discount leaving the DLC content to
make up or again do what the competition does and reduce those gradually and with promos.

Simply hoping for possible change, since the xbox has soo much to offer and id like to be able to purchase discount games as often as i see them elsewhere.
