Hello, if I report someone on Xbox for being toxic in a certain game, could they get suspended? is xbox able to look into the match replay of that specific game and see how they were acting or is it all up to that specific game dev? i see the option to report someone for voice communication in game chat, but how would xbox be able to hear the game chat when investigating a report when the game is owned by another company with their own report system?

Hello Elfpizza, if the voice chat happened in the Xbox group, Microsoft's ban and suspensions department will be able to handle this, but if the audio was within the game party will have no effect because there is no access by Microsoft to the developer.

Exactly, when it happens within the Party of the game the ideal would be to report the developer of the game, an example is Fortnite, you have to report a player within the game to Epic, I believe that most games and developers have this ability.

Ok so say there is a text chat in a game on xbox but only in the specific game. If someone is toxic in there, can xbox do anything about it or no because it is not directly on xbox? Thanks

A report in game, will be handled by the developers of that game.

If you reported the individual via the Xbox report function and evidence is found of him breaking Xbox TOS, the ban will be unavoidable.
