    I have purchased 3 games online for my daughter for her xbox. The money has come out of the bank but the games do not show as been purchased on the console.

    Is this a common theme?

    Is there something I now have to do with the Xbox?

    Try checking Recent tab from your xbox 360 home, if you can't find the game there then use bing search to find the game and launch it from there.

    You would need to choose the option to purchase as a gift when buying the game to give it to someone else. Otherwise, the game is tied to your account and you cannot transfer ownership to someone else. You can try submitting a refund request to refund the order and the purchase it again as a gift to give to him.
