Xbox Game Preview Program

I'm interested in joining the program but don't have anyone in my friends list to send an invite. I was wondering if someone would be nice enough to send me an invite. I can give my Gamer Tag if so.

Ark survival evolved preview program question

While browsing the web for Ark's release date I noticed that it will be available with the preview program but that made me wonder which one because I'm not a member of the xbox preview program that gives early access to console updates but in games coming
soon there is a game called Sheltered and it has a (Game Preview) tag so does that mean everyone on xbox one can preview Ark or only preview program members

True, But right now there are no real Xbox exclusive in the preview program that I'm aware of? but given the fact that a game in the preview program may never come out & be released or even finished after someone buys it is a pretty big deal IMO, and has & can turn people off from getting the game early

Many people think the game's in the preview program are never going to be released for what ever reason, this just go's to show them that these game's will get finished & released because Microsoft is backing them

also Its not like the preview programs is kickstater where a dishonest dev can just take your money and run before starting or even ever finishing a game for what ever reason they give



I think the preview program is a pretty great idea as long as it doesn't turn into steams green light & let a bunch of crap game's get released into the preview program water and screw it for all the better developers trying to sell there game's on xbox one early.

I was also hoping Halo 5 would have been part of the preview program by now so we could have gotten to play it early, But I don't know if Microsoft will ever release a big Xbox exclusive like that into the preview program? I remember them talking about it, but who knows if they will ever release a Triple A title from them or a Major developer out into the Preview program wilds

It be cool to see Gears Of War 4 released into the preview program but I doubt that will ever happen?

 

The preview program is almost full now so they are limiting the amount of people they are accepting.

Considering the backlog it's highly unlikely you would be accepted.

 

I've been accepted but still haven't received the service message to download the program

 

Then how do you know you've been accepted ? The only way to know if you've been accepted is when you get a message over xbox live prompting you to download the app.

Being invited does not guarantee you will be accepted.

 

Spoke with xbox this morning who confirmed I'd been accepted but was chasing up why I'd not been sent the message. They've given me a reference number in case it's not been sorted within the next 24 hour

 

Phone/chat support are nothing to do with the preview program & can't tell if you have been accepted or not.

As I've said,the only way to know is if you get a message over live.

 

Just received the message now so all is good. Just given this backwards compatibility a go installing one of the old gears of war.

 

You do realise there's more to being in the preview program than backwards compatibility?
