Xbox game Play Issues When I am on PC and Wife is on Xbox

Let me start of by saying we are NOT on the same connection. Her connection will not hold both of us. We have 2 internet connections at our house, both hard wired, with DSL Wi-Fi disabled because they were always on same broadcast channel. 1 is a DSL connection because we are in an area where no fiber, cable, so only DSL from Brightspeed is available. I am on T-Mobile home internet, and while it does have some latency variations it is fine. We are not on the that connection because 1. I absorb a ton of bandwidth, 2 we are waiting for a Waveform mimo antenna to come in.

We replaced her 2017 Xbox one S in December with a Xbox one X all digital, and I am on a PC with a rog strix b550-f gaming wifi mobo ii with a Ryzen 9 5950x and a amd 5700Xt GPU turned down to 144 frame maximum. This one I just built, this also occured with my other PC.

Now when she plays by herself in any map on multiplier in Modern Warfare BO6, but we will use Stakeout for an example. She does completely fine. Great KD, seen her go 62-12 or 33-8 quite often. Absolutely no issues or glitches. THEN, I join her party inside modern warfare BO6 and it will immediately begin glitching, point blanks don't register, hit markers, randomly dying and no one is there. Just very poor game play. We also had a friend get on and we joined his party, same issue. But it never affected him. I leave the party, and she goes back to playing immediately better.

If we play Destiny 2 it doesn't do it, not that we noticed. But she is through Xbox and I am through Steam on that game. For Modern Warfare I use the Xbox APP and obviously she uses Xbox. When I ran the other Modern warfares I used Steam and we didn't have any trouble. The only common thing I can think off is either something maybe related to the X-box or a setting, or it is modern warfare itself. Completely at a lose here. Unless it has to do with network some how.

First the easy part: Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold on your Xbox console.

Let's assume you buy the Game Pass subscription. As long as you keep the console your wife plays on as your account's Home Console, anyone (including your wife) can play on that console and the console will unlock the Game Pass games as well as allow online
Multiplayer through the shared gold subscription.

On the PC it's a bit awkward.

First of all, you'll have to make sure your wife is added to your Microsoft family. Sign in with your account on
https://account.microsoft.com/family. There add your wife's Microsoft Account if not already done so.

Now the complicated part on getting the Game Pass Games on your wife's PC:

Your wife has to add your Microsoft Account as a second user to her PC.

Then with your WIFE SIGNED IN, have her go to the Windows Store or Xbox Game Pass App.

If she is signed in to these apps, she has to sign out temporarily from these apps, and you will have to sign in with your account.

You ONLY sign into the APPS! You do NOT sign out your wife from her logged in account on the PC!

Then with your account signed in on the store app or the Xbox Game Pass app, your wife can then download and install the PC games.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You can play games with a PC player if the game allows cross-play.

In regards to your specific question, you can only use your account on one device at a time. As a workaround, you may need to set your account as Home Xbox on the console in that way all profiles signed in on the console will be able to use your subscription.

By setting your account as Home Xbox on the console, you will use your PC and your wife will use the Xbox console.

I only hook up my pc to my tv when I am the only one home the wife and kids are usually using the tv when I game on the pc lol plus my current pc isn't able to run the newer games very well lol

Microsoft/Ark please stop updating the game client version on one console and not the other. AKA PC/Xbox. It's the weekend and I can't even play with my wife..?? Update all game client versions at the same time when they are all ready it is that simple.

OK, it's sinking in. I am good at PC's but not consoles.

I can see my Wife created her own account of our XBox One. When on my PC, I can log into my account and see everything on our XBox One which she can access through her account.

So, I go to the MS store and buy the game once getting 2 versions. I assume I will be able to install both from there. I will be able to play on my PC and she will be able to play against me with the same copy I installed on our XBox One as long as she logs
into her account.

Correct?
