XBox Game Pass: Will putting in a subscription code override my 3 months for $1?

Hello all. I am rather new to the whole XBox community having just gotten an XBox One X a few days ago. I signed up for Game Pass with the special that was 3 months for $1. However, for Christmas I also got 6 months of subscription services in the form
of codes from a special Gamestop was having. I would like to go ahead and load up the codes so I don't forget or lose them, but I don't want to lose my 3 cheap months (trying to get the most out of everything). So my question is as the title says. If I
put in the codes for my six months from the cards, will it eliminate the 3 months special deal I already have? Or will it just add on those months after the initial 3 months is over.

It should extend it, however I recommend taking screenshots incase it does somehow end up going wrong.

It's for the Ultimate. But that's what I needed to know. Normally I'd expect it to extend but I just wanted to be sure. Thanks!

If they are for Ultimate Game Pass, they will extend your subscription. You can add up to 36 months at a time.

If they are for standard gold or game pass, they will also extend your subscription, but they will be converted to Ultimate at a different conversion rate instead of the 6 months. You can see the conversion in the

I added 3 months subscription to ultimate game pass before it asked me if I wanted to add 3 months for $1 can I add the. 3 months for $1 to the end of my full price for a total of 6 months do you think?
