Xbox Game Pass Ultimate still taking my money months after I cancelled

Hello.

To put it lightly, I’m not impressed with you Microsoft.

I bought the Xbox Game Pass for a month for £1 a few months ago and cancelled it before it could renew. Since then, I have had 2 £10.99 installments taken out of my account.

Sort it out guys, come on. I’ve double checked several times through my MS account and it has definitely been cancelled as it keeps telling me to “renew”.

I want you guys to a) stop charging me and b) refund me my £30. It wouldn’t even be as bad if i could still access the Game Pass Ultimate Subscription, but I can’t even do that! You’re just robbing me of my money for a service I’m not getting!

back, change your category/topic. Billing and Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually works for me.

What it sounds like is your ultimate game pass has gone past due.

It will take 2 months for it to completely cancel out (MS will continue to try and take the money from the payment option during that time) after the 2 months of not being able to get the money they will cancel the subscription.

If it does at this point that payment option will NEVER be able to be used on any MS account again.

I just activated a 24-month Xbox Live Gold subscription tonight. I want to take advantage of the "Join for $1" Game Pass, which will convert my 24 month "Live" subscription to an "ultimate." But I'm very confused as to what will really happen. In one
place, it says "Joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will upgrade your remaining Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass for Console or Xbox Game Pass for PC time into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for the same amount of
time, up to 36 months. All conversions are final. See xbox.com/gamepass for details. " So I think "Oh great, this $1 will upgrade the entire 24 month subscription to "ultimate" for a total of $1." But when I actually click "Join," the message tells
me that I will be charged $1 for the first month and then $14.95/month for every month after that (and that if I cancel Game Pass subscription after the trial period, that I will be cancelling my entire subscription... I like the idea of $1 to permanently
upgrade (for 24 months). But if I click join (and accept terms) and then find out that it is actually $14.95/month and that the only way to cancel is to lose my 24-month prepaid subscription to "Live Gold," then I'd be super unhappy.

i payed for Xbox live for 3 months 1 month ago. i then payed for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate i cancelled the game pass and it cancelled my Xbox Live as well. it shouldn't cancelled the Xbox live as well

It just means that you cannot cancel the 24 months of game pass ultimate to reduce the payments. The console is still yours after the payments.
