    Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on Xbox -> Not detected on PC


    Hey.

    I have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, expiring in a month or so.

    Tried to download Sea of Thieves on PC through the Xbox Beta app, but without success.

    It fails before it even starts downloading with the error "0x803f8001"

    Basically it's saying I don't own the game.

    But I do own it through Xbox Game Pass, and have played on it for many hours already on my Xbox.

    I'm using the same email, on my store, my windows, microsoft website, the Xbox App.

    I've relogged everywhere, I've restarted my Xbox and my PC, I've reinstalled Windows completely, I've even reinstalled the apps through Powershell, and nothing helped, still the same issue.

    When I open my Microsoft Store -> Library -> Game Pass or Xbox Live

    It shows up an empty tab for both of those. Which leads me to a conclusion that it's somehow not detecting I have Xbox Game Pass? Or some other kind of bug. Either way, it's preventing me from playing the game or even installing it to begin with, so I need
    a solution to this.

    Please don't bother linking to the 0x803f8001 Error page, or other threads containing comments about them, because I've tried them all and none of it helped.

    Help. Just bought Xbox pass ultimate and a Xbox 360.

    Unfortunately Game Pass is not available for the 360. You would only be able to use Game Pass on the PC or Xbox One.

    Xbox Game Pass Ultimate:

    If I buy Ultimate on my pc will it also work for Xbox?

    Game Pass Ultimate contains Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, EA Play (XBOX & PC), Cloud Gaming, and Xbox Live Gold. So yes, it will work on Xbox and PC.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in learning how you can switch from Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to Xbox Game Pass for PC. You will need to

    cancel Xbox Game Pass Ultimate     and
    purchase Xbox Game Pass for PC     if you want to only own Xbox Game Pass for PC. However, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate combines Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass for PC. Therefore, it may be best to simply

    turn off auto renew     on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and use the subscription until it runs out. Once Xbox Game Pass Ultimate has expired, you can purchase Xbox Game Pass for PC. We hope this information helps!
