Xbox Game pass Ultimate/how to save money

So my family and I got a year of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate over a year ago. The service was not renewed due to funds. We now have the funds as a family and we would like to get the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate again if we can cheapest for the long run. I can't
seem to find out how to get a year for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, much less two. I understand there is a conversion ratio for getting Xbox Gold, then getting a month of Ultimate, though I cannot find it. We took advantage of the dollar upgrade for it initially,
so I believe that is not available to us (the dollar upgrade again). I was told however that buying one month at 14.99 converts the remaining Xbox Live Gold to the Ultimate deal with a conversion. I've seen many users with different responses to this question
posed online. I do apologize, I was trying to get this myself, but the information seems to be varying. Might I have some help to figure out where I need to go to get the long term plans and also with the best deal? I would really appreciate it. We have a
large home and many people use our Xbox daily for stints. We have a PC user as well.

Ive went for the ultimate games pass as i was paying for both gold and game pass separate. It saved money for me and has the added bonus of the pc games but i wont be using that personally, just in it for saving money with both subscription fees and game

Everything you mentioned is correct. Since you already took advantage of 1 Month for 1$ before, that same account won't be eligible for the 1$ offer. Therefore, you will have to purchase the Ultimate 1 Month at the full price 14.99 $. And like you mentioned,
If you Purchased Game Pass Ultimate over an Active Live Gold or any other subscription, It will convert the remaining of Live Gold to Ultimate.

So if you wish to have a 12 Months Game Pass Ultimate, your best option is to purchase a 12 Months Live Gold and convert it to Ultimate, by purchasing 1 Month Ultimate for 14.99 $.

Note: You have to purchase Live Gold first, then you purchase the Ultimate.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. To add what the other poster stated. Your one year gold will not convert to 1 year of Ultimate. This only happens the first time you convert to an ultimate subscription. Here is the

conversion rate for Ultimate. Unfortunately, at this time there are no yearly subscriptions for Ultimate Game pass subscription.

Have you looked up the game pass ultimate to try and help save money?. It's quite nice for saving for subscriptions ect.

Game Pass & the Ultimate subscription for me have been the best improvements since launch. Saved my self money on the ultimate for starters, and played so many games on Game pass I probabaly wouldnt have purchased seperately too
