Xbox Game pass tells me to sign up for beta

Good day all.

I am currently subscribing to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. And as far as I know that means I get;

Xbox Live Gold

Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass for windows 10

My windows 10 pc is signed in to myaccount@outlook.com, and my Xbox gamertag is signed in with myaccount@gmail.com.

In the Xbox (Beta app), both my accounts show up, as shown in the screendump here:

The green button on the bottom says "Get xbox game pass for PC" ...

And I am also prompted to purchase Game Pass for PC when I try to download any games. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the xbox app, changing the language to my OS etc.

Edit: Oh and yes, my windows 10 is updated (1903 and so on.)

Thanks for your post. I understand you are experiencing issues with the Xbox (Beta) App and it not recognizing your subscription. Have you been able to install Game Pass games on your PC Before? If so, how long ago did this issue start?

Hi Kjemisk toalett,

The issue lies with the wrong account possibly being signed in to the Microsoft Store app, which is where your subscription for Ultimate is verified and where games are techincally installed from the Game Pass subscription. Since your Xbox Live account
(Microsoft Account) is not the one you use to sign in to Windows, the Xbox (Beta) app is not recognizing the subscription that is not linked to the Micrososft Account you use to sign in to Windows, but rather the Microsoft Account you have your Xbox Live profile
linked to.

Open the Microsoft Store app and click on the user icon in the top right corner, select the account (which should be the one logged into Windows), and sign out. When the page reloads, click the same icon and log into the other Microsoft Account that has
the Ultimate subscription purchased. Once you're logged in to the correct account on the Microsoft Store, you should be able to download games from the Xbox (beta) app or directly from the Store.
