    Xbox game pass specific game not launching


    I have the Xbox game pass on Windows 10, have launched Halo: Master chief collection without issue, Totally accurate battle simulator without issue, Crackdown 3 without issue, but when I try to launch the outer worlds, it opens the microsoft store page for
    "Gaming Services".

    Why is this one specific game refusing to launch and telling me to install something that is already installed?

    Halo Reach won't launch or be recognized as installed

    I actually just found the solution not long ago. For some reason, a family shared Game Pass account does not work. I had to log into the specific account on the Windows Store that the Game Pass is tied to. It launches perfectly as long as that account
    is logged in as the game launches. Really bizarre. Any other Game Pass game works fine under my other account.

    Also, are you able to launch other Xbox game pass games properly without any issues?

    More specifically, Game Pass Ultimate is three in one: Xbox Live Gold plus Game Pass for Xbox plus Game Pass for PC.
