    Xbox Game Pass Renewal


    Hey there, so my game pass subscription expired last night due to me changing phone numbers as I had it reoccurring on that phone bill. I've now tried to renew it through my phone and a computer, it wont let me pay it with those 2 options. do I have to buy a new game pass for the month then change my payment method?

    To cancel auto-renewal you need to go too the xbox website then go too payment and billing find Xbox game pass then turn off auto renewal on the game pass

    then it should cancel your auto renewal.

    Only problem I have with Game Pass, is I have heard if you do not renew it then you can lose your gold subscription too. Is this fact or fiction?

    If you have Game Pass Ultimate (which combines both Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass) and do not renew, then yes you would lose both. If you subscribe to Game Pass separate from Xbox Live Gold, then if you don't renew Game Pass (but still renew Xbox Live Gold)
    all you would lose is your subscription to Game Pass.

    Did you turn off auto renewal AFTER you purchased the 1$ Game Pass upgrade? If not, that is why this happened.
