Xbox game pass perks

Hi I just bought the ultimate game pass, I hoped to get 6 months of spotify premium for free like how it says on the store. Allthough when I go to perks it only says 3 months instead of the advertised 6 and when I try to redeem it. Spotify says its not a
valid offer and prompts me to pay the normal price for premium. So basicly I feel like I got scammed since all I hoped to get buying this was spotify premium for a little while.

I'm established in France right now but my spotify account is in the US so it shouldn't matter.
