Xbox Game Pass PC will not start instillation

A few days ago I noted that a couple of my game pass games required updates (The Outer Wilds and Age of Empires II: DE). No problem, right? Started updating them and went on my merry way. Well, come to find out neither one will update and I keep getting
different error codes. Okay, been there before, so I checked for Windows updates and sure enough, there were updates, and so I updated the PC figuring that would help.

Nope.

So I figured it was just a temporary issue on Microsoft's side, so I tried installing other games (Gears Tactics, Deliver Us to the Moon, Stranger Things 3) and that works absolutely fine. Okay then, maybe there's something wrong with the games themselves?

That led me uninstalling the games, and then tried reinstalling. Nope, and now that seemed to make things worse. It won't even TRY to install them. Like, it'll ask me which drive I want to install them, and they just instantly send me back to the game page
without even starting the download.

I tried installing them directly from the Microsoft store, but still got nothing.

Cleared the Xbox GP app's cache. Nothing.

Reset the Xbox GP app. Nothing.

Checked my account and there's nothing wrong on that side.

It appears to just be those two games that refuse to start downloading. I've tried everything I can think of at this point, anyone else have any suggestions?

Hi,

You can try this: Go to SETTINGS---Apps & Features ---- select the app and go the advanced settings, select terminate and after reset. Restart the pc and try again.

Unfortunately that hasn't seemed to help. It acts like it wants to start downloading for a split second ("Preparing"), but then changes back to the default "Install" and doesn't do anything.

I just noticed that when I try downloading the games from the Microsoft Store, it acts as though I already downloaded them (See image below). However, they are both currently uninstalled, and neither show up in my apps settings or in the Xbox GP app.

Games like Borderlands 2 or Minecraft can be install if I had a xbox one but to PC I can't (xbox game pass PC) !! Why ?!

Why ?

Tve Xbox Game Pass from console its different from the Xbox Game Pass on PC!

Some games are exclusive for console and others for PC.

Btw remember tha Xbox Game Pass on PC it's just started, so you will see more and more games will be add on Game Pass.
