Xbox Game Pass PC Moving WL3 stuck on 100% & all saves gone

I was excited to learn you now have the option of moving a game to a different folder with the Xbox Game Pass app in Windows, but that excitement quickly got smashed down.

I was just trying to move Wasteland 3 to a different folder and poof.. it's now stuck on 100% moving (for 30 min or so). I can't launch the game using the executable either, nor does restarting the Xbox Game Pass app change this behaviour.

Worst of all: I was just checking C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\DeepSilver.56575194F7E04_hmv7qcest37me and now all my saves are gone. Needless to say I'm pissed at MS for such a **** update.

edit: thankfully when I finally reinstalled the game my saves were automatically synced back. Still.. this was f*ing annoying and a complete waste of my time. Don't you test your updates @ MS?

Reach is the only bc game I have right now, so I don't know if it's just this game or if all of my cloud saves are gone. I am 100% certain I moved all my game saves to the cloud before trading in my 360 for a One.

You can play on both Xbox and PC with the same account and the save moves back and forth. Are you logging into the PC and game pass with the same account as the Xbox?

there is no hope, once a reinstall or even a refresh happens you HAVE to download all the games again, Microsoft uses a mixture of ways for games on game pass pc and all reside in an encrypted folder which a new version of windows will not use.

sorry but you will have to download the lot again. be warned that some of your game saves maybe gone too as not all gamepass pc games support cloud saves.

Add me to the list of having achievements not unlocking properly.

One is stuck at 100% progress "Done! Unlocking..." and one is stuck at 75% even though it should be 100% (progress bar didn't move).

Really hoping I don't have to play the game again to get 100%.
