    Xbox Game Pass PC Installation


    I have had this problem for a long time, and it has finally gotten just too annoying to deal with.

    Whenever I attempt to install or update a game using the Xbox App (Using game pass), the installation never goes past 7%, regardless of what it is. It then sits at 0Bs per second indefinitely, even after pausing/resuming, swapping to another network, restarting the download, and restarting my computer.

    I have attempted to reinstall game services, I have done the Administrator: Powershell commands to reset Game Services and the ran MSReset.exe. I have even reinstalled windows 10.

    You don’t need an Xbox to use Game Pass for PC. You can find info on the subject here: https://www.xbox.com/en-CA/xbox-game-pass/pc-games

    What you would probably want is game pass for PC, not game pass ultimate if you’re just using it for PC.

    Basically, just a Windows PC with the Xbox app installed.

    You need to install the Game Pass for PC app to install games from Game Pass on your PC.
