    Xbox Game Pass (PC Beta) Sign-In Issue


    Good afternoon Microsoft team,

    I recently downloaded the PC Beta here in Australia to be one of the first people to help Microsoft grow the platform and iron out bugs.

    The issue I've found is that, it won't even allow me to connect.

    Essentially what happens is, it recognises my account and I sign it. It then proceeds to say, "Welcome Back" where I can then click "Let's Play" but upon clicking that, it takes me to the main page then fails to sign me in therefore making the app unusable.
    I've tried it multiple times via different methods.

    Is there a fix?

    I have XBox Game Pass (3 month) but cannot download any games

    Game Pass for PC is correct.

    Signed into Xbox (Beta) with my account that has Game Pass for PC.

    Signed into Microsoft Store with same account.

    Download/install hangs and eventually fails- never passing 0%

    If i understand the problem, you want to buy them both an Xbox Game Pass subscription to play on their respective PC's ? Buy an Xbox Game Pass PC sub for each or a Ultimate Game Pass. Log their account on Xbox beta app on PC and buy them the correct sub.
    Or use xbox.com with their account correctly sign in and buy them Xbox Game Pass for PC.

    It isn't a play anywhere title. You would either need to purchase it for PC or sign up for Game Pass Ultimate/Game Pass PC beta. Seeing as there is an offer on, it may be worth signing up

    Which beta app are you having issue downloading? The Xbox Console Companion App (Beta) or the Xbox Game Pass for PC app (Beta)? You'll need to have he beta companion app downloaded first before you can download the PC game pass app (beta) and you will also
    need to have Windows update version 1903.

    Restart your PC and then make sure you have the requirements to download the PC game pass app.

    Are you signing in with the exact same account that purchased the Game Pass PC beta subscription?
