Xbox Game Pass PC Beta on Windows 10 LTSC

Windows 10 LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel) is a stripped down version of Windows designed for long term use. However, it does not contain the Windows Store. The store is
essential to install games via the Beta app.

The Windows Store can not be installed on LTSC, so you would need to switch to Windows 10 Home to use the Xbox Game Pass on PC.

Not only does Win 10 LTSC not get updates very often, it' is also missing the Windows Store.

Game Pass on PC uses the Windows 10 Store to download the games, they don't download and install via the app. No Windows Store, no PC Game Pass compatabilty.

LTSC was designed for mission critical work tasks, not gaming.

You'll need one of the consumer versions of Windows 10 to use Game Pass.

The LTSC only gets updated every 2-3 years the last update was November 13, 2018, so there should be either one this year or one next year. Additionally, your organisation could delay updates for up to 10 years. So it would be best getting a Home or Pro

If it is PC, you will need the Xbox Game Pass PC Beta and your PC will need to be running Windows 10 1903 build.

Yes you just need to use the Xbox app ti purchase and download games. There is a subscription service of Game Pass PC beta, you get 100 PC games to play. Your PC needs to be running the Windows 10 1903 update, to use Game Pass PC beta.
