Xbox Game Pass Pc Beta - Installed cant log in to Account

Okay I joined xbox game pass for Pc for a 1$ Canadian.

Installed game pass Pc Beta App

Made sure Windows is up to date.

Ran the App

When I click on sign in..it refreshes and goes back to app same screen. tried clicking on games list then signing in...same result- cant sign in.

I noticed when I scroll down to show game pass plans (because I am not signed in) ..it shows as being in UK pounds as currency.

Checked my region and Language..both are correct as being English and Canadian.

Re-installed App 2 times...restarted computer each time...same results..still in Uk funds and cant sign in.

I am running a NON Activated copy of Windows...this is the only possible problem I can see...does it have to be activated in order to run that App?

you have to log in to the account that has the xbox game pass on the microsoft store of your pc, once you have loged in then go to the xbox game pass app beta on your pc and log into the account you want to play

The new Xbox (Beta) app on PC for the Xbox Game Pass for PC, included with Game Pass Ultimate, and the Xbox Console Companion app uses the account logged into the Microsoft Store app, not Windows, for subscription and game license verifications. Log
in normally to Windows with Account #1. Then, open the Microsoft Store from your Start menu, and
in the upper right corner, click on your account picture and sign out from Account #1. Sign in to Account #2, and from there the Xbox (Beta) app should recognize Account #2 and allow you to start installing games. Make sure you are also signed in to Account
#2 on the Xbox (Beta) app, but it should automatically do it once you sign in to the right account on the Microsoft Store.

Sign in to Account #2 in the Microsoft Store and then let us know if it allows you to install games while logged into Account #1 for Windows.

You is try using the Xbox(Beta) App? because the Xbox Console Companion don't work to Play the games in GP PC

Hi again, here are some tips that might solve your problem:

Check first if there are issues in your Region with the Live Service
Make sure your Computer Login is the same as your XBOX-Account!
Select the Start button, then select Settings/Accounts/Your Info/ there should be the same email as your XBOX account!
Make sure Windows has the latest update: Select
check for updates now, and then select Check for updates. Or, select the Start button, then select Settings/Update & Security/Windows Update/Check
for Updates. If there is an available update, select Install now.
Check also if there are Updates pending in the Store APP: Select the Start
button, and then from the apps list, select Microsoft Store. In Microsoft Store, select See more/Downloads and updates/Get updates.
Check if all 4 XBOX Services and the 2 gaming service are running (via taskmanager).
