Xbox Game Pass on 360 console not working?

Hello.

I Recently received a 6 month Xbox Game Pass. However, i have an Xbox 360, not an Xbox One. yet the Game Pass Catalog list's several Xbox 360 titles.

I Redeemed the code from my computer, but when i went to download/purchase one of the many games listed that were available, it did not recognize i had redeemed the code for the game pass.

When Further looking into this problem, i stumbled upon the fact that on the Xbox One, it has a tab hidden in Apps and Games called "Xbox Game Pass". yet the 360 does not.

I did Sign Into my microsoft and xbox live account after redeeming the code and before trying to download games like sonic CD, or Banjo Tooie.

I have looked online, and have not found any answers to this. so at last i try the forums.

Can anyone help? Or is the Xbox Game Pass really not compatible with the 360?

Brought COD AW Season pass on Xbox 360 but it's not transfered to Xbox one

hi, can anyone help..... I purchased the COD Advanced warfare season pass on my Xbox 360 as have the game disk. That all works fine. I have just purchased the Xbox one and have the Xbox one cod aw game disk but the season pass I purchased on 360 is not showing
as transfered on to the Xbox one console. When I go to Xbox market place and season pass for Xbox one it says £34.99 to pay. I thought the season pass would transfer over from 360 to one consoles?

How do I get the season pass on the Xbox one? I have games for both consoles on disk.

also will any DLC that I have purchased on the 360 transfer to the Xbox one?

Seasons Pass Files, online passes or any game licenses should be located on the Xbox 360 Hard Drive. They not large in size. So move or transfer your seasons Pass file back to your console or just re-download the season pass from the market.

I'm sorry to break it to you, but Game Pass works with Xbox One, and Windows 10 (for the Play Anywhere titles), but not an Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 games listed in the catalog are backward compatible games.

The Xbox Game Pass app is not compatible with the Xbox 360 due to the fact that Game Pass is not available for the Xbox 360. Hence why you cannot make the console the default console. The Xbox Game pass app will only work for the Xbox One.

Game Pass Games are subscription based games, and only Backwards Compatible 360 games for the Xbox One work with Game Pass.

If you have Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Gold, you can keep the Games With Gold for Xbox 360. But with only Game Pass, you can't play any backwards compatible games on the 360, and on the Xbox One, the games stop working after your Game Pass trial
ran out.

So in short: No, you can't keep Game Pass Games, be it Xbox One or Xbox 360 games. And Game Pass doesn't work on original Xbox 360 consoles at all.

Game Pass is only for the Xbox One/Series consoles, so if you're trying to play a game you don't own via Game Pass on your Xbox 360, that's why it's not working.

What console are you trying to use Game Pass Ultimate on? It will not work with Xbox 360 only Xbox One and PC.

You can use Game Pass for 360 games that are backwards compatible on the Xbox One.

Unfortunately, the copy protection method on the Xbox 360 console doesn't have the concept of "renting" a game.

On the 360 console, you own a game forever, or not. There is no "owning a game until your Game Pass subscription ends".

Therefore, even though there are Xbox 360 games included in the Game Pass, you can't use Game Pass on your Xbox 360 console. Only on Xbox One through Backwards Compatibility.
