Xbox Game Pass not installing games

    Xbox Game Pass not installing games


    When I try to download a game, such as Halo Infinite, I get Error 0x87e00017. I have tried other games and get the same error. I tried uninstalling game pass then reinstalling Microsoft store and then game pass. Still same issue. I look in feedback and see dozens of similar issues. What is really irritating is I used Game Pass months ago and had no issue. I am using the same PC too

    It sounds like you are having trouble installing games from the Xbox Game Pass on your D drive.

    Make sure that you have enough free space on your D drive to install the games.

    Check if there are any updates available for the Xbox Game Pass app and install them.

    Try resetting the Xbox Game Pass app:

    On your Xbox One console, go to "My games and apps"

    Navigate to the Xbox Game Pass app and press the "Menu" button on your controller.

    Select "Manage app" and then "Reset".

    Confirm the reset and try installing the game again.

    If none of the above steps help, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox Game Pass app. Make sure to select the D drive as the installation location when you reinstall it.

    You can install the Xbox Game Pass mobile app, and it will send notifications when games are leaving Game Pass and when new games arrive. If you can't install the app, you can follow Xbox Game Pass on Twitter. There is also a Game Pass section on the Home
    Dashboard of the Xbox console now where you can find this information.
