    Xbox game pass issue

    With the game pass now out, I have subscribed to it to begin trying out new games. While scrolling through the game list I opened up Gears of War Ultimate edition but it wouldn't let me download it, only purchase it. Is this deliberate or an error?

    • Do you have active Game Pass at this time if you check your
      account?
    • Are specific games you downloaded through Game Pass not showing?
    • Is the full list of Game Pass games not showing in ready to install and in memberships?

    Have you tried
    removing your profile     and
    power cycling the console?

    Xbox game pass ultimate not working xbox live gold

    The issue with my Game Pass Ultimate subscription is gone, yeah!

    I could claim the monthly Games with Gold from July 2023 by myself.

    It seems that Microsoft has fixed the problem and there could be a relation to the new announced "Xbox Game Pass Core":

    That's great news, we were able to get into the issue and you're welcome.

    It should give you two options, to buy an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

    Microsoft Store Content Restrictions

    I am having the same issue but with the game pass app which takes you to the Microsoft store once something is selected. I set up a new xbox one with family settings turned on for the kids but yet they can still watch the inappropriate trailers in the game
    pass app and start downloads of adult games once being directed to the store from the game pass.

    I spent a lot of time on the phone with a xbox rep trying different things and he was surprised but could not give an explanation. He feels it is an issue with the game pass app. For now I will keep tabs on there activity and won't renew the game pass app
    when the trial runs out and see if that stops the issue.
