Xbox Game pass linked to account, doesn't allow download of anything however.

Went to sleep last night, all was well, however when I woke up today, tried to update Sea of Thieves on PC, and the download occured fine. I read that the update was a full game re-install basically, so after the ~20 GB finished, I tried launching, but
it kept giving this code.

"Sea of Thieves is currently not available in your account. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001"

It will not let me use Xbox game pass on PC, so I can't get access to the game. Browse the web and find posts, uninstall the game, update my xbox app, signed out on PC, and back in, and that's when it got worse. Now the game won't even download, so after
the "fix" I will have to download and wait 20 GB again.

Currently, the xbox version is patching, and i tried started another random download from Xbox Game pass, and it started. Went back to PC, still same issues on PC, even with no subscription issues.

Help please.

Purchase history on a renewal subscription shifted

Hi there,

the xbox live account stays the same when it has a gold or free subscription.

Any purchase is linked to that xbox live account so it doesn't matter if the account is gold or a free account.

It should allow you to download that game again whenever you want when using the same xbox live account and when the console is connected to xbox live ofcourse.

 

Quick question regarding playing your own music in games????

Xbox Music Pass isn't something you subscribe to in order to allow your console to sync. With or without it, you still can't sync music content from a phone or anything. Xbox Music Pass does allow you to use the radio and various other things, however.
