Xbox game pass issue

I wanted to buy Xbox game pass ultimate which is 1 dollar for me because i never bought game pass i entered my gift card to my account and now i have 5 dollars in my account i go to the store it says i need a credit card i entered the information and try to buy it it says change your Store region the region in which your payment was issued and your store region need to match and i entered the store region united states andthe payment option united states so i don't know what to do and i haven't played from almost 2 months so i need help
