    Hello Everyone,

    I'm having error code 0x800700e9 pop up when trying to download certain games from Xbox Game Pass and I'm not alone several other users are having similar issues. I have a GPD Win 3 Gaming PC which has more then enough space on it and Requirements to run all xbox game pass pc games. The titles currently giving me the above error as the date of posting this message are as follows: Yakuza 0, Code Vein, Halo Master Chief Edition, Yakuza Collection. I have wifi6 and a strong ethernet connection so no issues there and enough space. Other games install no problem like dead space, Nier Automata I installed and played without issue. It seems like certain games have this issue and this shouldn't happen if they expect gamers to pay 14.99 a month. All games should install fine. Anyone have any solutions seems like xbox has been having this problem for some time and either they dont want to fix it or dont care??

    Hello There ! Would you please perform the steps bellow :

    Updated Windows.

    Updated windows store.

    Services: (WIN+R -> services. MSc)

    Switched "Delivery Optimization" and "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" to automatic.

    Group Policy Editor: (WIN+R -> gpedit.msc)
    Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Delivery Optimization
    Activated "Download mode" and switched to 1.

    Restarted PC.

    I had previously disabled Delivery Optimization via regedit.

    Re-enabling this service and ensuring it was running fixed this problem for me.

    What I did:
    win + R, regedit, enter
    navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DoSvc

    changed Start value to 3

    restarted

    win + r, services.msc, enter

    right clicked Delivery Optimization, Start, service indicates Running status

    Canceled pending installations in Xbox app

    Searched for game pass game i wanted, clicked Install

    Install working no problems.

    notes

    once downloads are restored there is no need for further action; set it and forget it.
    start value 3 permits the OS to launch this service when another app or service depend on it.

    regedit at your own risk. make a system restore backup.
