Xbox Game Pass Hour - Streaming/Content Creation

Hello there!

I'm and from South Africa. A very proud Xbox Ambassador and also one of the Xbox Playdates Host for South Africa.

With numerous friends on Xbox who only had Xbox Live and often bought games as they didn't see the benefit of Xbox Game Pass, I wanted to start an initiative to showcase what Xbox Game Pass offered and that it indeed is worth the small additional fee that so
many Xbox gamers were already paying by using Xbox Live.

My Xbox Game Pass Hour is in its 12th week of running! The first stream was on Monday the 18th of May.

So far I've covered a total of 43 different games on Xbox Game Pass - each with an individual hour stream done where my viewers could see what the game looks like from the start. Discussing the game size, achievements, overall mechanics, visuals and sounds.

At the end of the hour, I ask my viewers to rate the game based on what they've seen within the hour/stream - a rating above 5/10 indicates their likelihood to download and play the game themselves. This is not an overall score and is separate from my rating,
which is based on more gameplay than just the first hour. *unless it's a shorter game such as Fractured Minds. - We call this a first impression rating

I'm sure a lot of gamers are like me where, if a game hasn't been introduced to you by hype or media or a friend or a stream, you'd end up first looking at the name, then the poster/art, then the description, then the trailer and screenshots if you even get
this far.

Since the start of Xbox Game Pass Hour, I've promised myself to not limit myself and opt-out of streaming a game purely because I'm not the biggest fan of the genre or it doesn't seem all that interesting. Forager as an example, the artwork was cute, the name
was cute, the download size ideal, but it seemed a bit like Minecraft (and please don't stone me) but Minecraft isn't one of my favourite games. Regardless, it was a fairly new addition to Game Pass and it ended up that I LOVED the game! Same with Neon Abyss
*although I haven't added this to Game Pass Hour I've only done a review on it.

A few of my viewers have commented and said they love both games since being introduced to it, some have even finished it!

A few other streamers (3) have asked me if they could use the same concept or have told me that this has inspired them to not be limited to only playing one game, especially after seeing how well my community has responded. I've also noticed others who have
copied a similar concept, not worried about this at all as at the end it brings out the message of "Game Pass is awesome and here's why you need to get it!!"
